We streamline manufacturing of medical protective clothing and hygiene products to facilitate a shift to domestic production
Matsuya R&D focuses on manufacturing automatic sewing machines and sewn products for medical protective clothing, such as isolation gowns and nurse caps. We are also developing automatic manufacturing machines for medical cotton swabs, most of which Japan now imports, as we help pave the way to domestic production.

- Nurse Cap Sewing Machine
- This sewing machine does everything from cutting and sewing to ejecting to automatically produce nurse caps from a non-woven fabric roll or sheet.
It uses soft elastic thread to make caps that fit well and are comfortable to wear.
- Medical Cotton Swab Making Machine
- This automatic machine for the ultrasonic welding of sterilized fibers to nylon resin sticks is suitable for clean rooms.
It automatically feeds a cotton roll while simultaneously welding and cutting materials to efficiently produce cotton swabs that are soft to the touch.
- Cuff manufacturing line automation
- We have developed a fully automated production line for blood pressure cuffs. In addition to automatic sewing, temperature, humidity, and pressure are numerically controlled throughout the entire manufacturing process, from cutting and welding to inspection, to produce durable and highly accurate cuffs.
